Marjan Muršec joined Mobitel (merged with Telekom Slovenije in 2011) in 1997 and began working in the Network Planning Department. He has worked as a member of the GSM network planning team. During the GSM network build up, he was involved in planning, measurement and performance analyses. Since the launch of the UMTS network at the end of 2003, he is actively involved in WCDMA radio network planning and optimization process. He studied Applied Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Ljubljana's University and finished studies in 1998.
