Pre-Conference Morning Workshop C – Monday 17th May 2010
Taking LTE From Early Trials to Deployed Networks
Led by Per Kangru and Moray Rumney, Agilent Technologies
Workshop Overview:
Transitioning from early technology demonstrations to a deployed and operational LTE network is in many cases a multiyear activity and significant group effort for a large operator. Being able to structure and build on the experiences gained through this into effective
vendor sourcing and operational network management and optimization must be a high primary for any Network Operator considering LTE. This workshop will focus on how the learning from the initial phases of technology evaluation can be used while performing vendor selection and preparing for network rollout.
Who Will Benefit From Taking Part?
Operators, vendors and related companies working to take LTE from the drawing board onto the streets. This workshop is aimed at anyone that wants a real-world understanding of both the strategic, technical and practical aspects of LTE network deployment.
Agenda:
09:00 Registration
Measuring LTE Network Performance in the Real World
Ensuring Performance and Interoperability
12:30 End of Workshop
